That day, I was calmly walking by the water. There was silence all around, only a light breeze rippling the surface.

In my hand, I held a phone, without any particular purpose. I was simply enjoying the reflections, the changing light, the peacefulness of the landscape. Nothing hinted at what was about to happen.
Out of pure habit, I started filming. I wanted to capture this serene atmosphere. And suddenly… something stirred beneath the water. 😯
At first, I thought it was a shadow, a play of light, or maybe a fish. But what moved just below the surface didn’t resemble any creature I knew. It was long, dark, smooth… and it glided slowly, almost gracefully, completely silently. 😯
I froze in place. My hands were trembling. What I saw was not ordinary.

The creature seemed alive, but it wasn’t a dolphin or any of those sea animals I was familiar with. It had fins — yes — but their shape was strange, almost unreal.
I couldn’t take my eyes off it. I kept filming, both mesmerized and uneasy at the same time.
The creature appeared once more for a second — then vanished back into the depths, leaving behind perfectly calm water. No splashes, no sound.
Only a strange feeling, as if I had witnessed something inexplicable.

Since then, I often find myself thinking back to that scene. I watch the video over and over, hoping to catch some clue, some detail I might have missed. Was it an unknown creature?
Or did I simply encounter a secret that the sea carefully hides?
They say that more than 90% of the oceans remain unexplored. Maybe that day I glimpsed into one of those mysterious depths. And that image still won’t leave my mind.
