During the wedding, the dog suddenly bit the bride on the arm: once the groom understood why the dog did it, he called off the wedding

That day was supposed to be perfect: flowers, music, guests in elegant outfits, and the bride’s sparkling white dress.

The groom looked happy, standing next to him was his loyal dog named Roy, whom he had trained to accompany him everywhere. Roy was a calm, kind dog, a true friend whom the man even considered a family member.

But the bride clearly didn’t like Roy. She frowned whenever the dog came close, complained that he “smelled like a dog,” and demanded that he be kept away. The groom tried to smooth things over, saying Roy wouldn’t ruin the celebration, but the bride was firmly opposed.

Throughout the event, the bride’s behavior became increasingly provocative: she snapped at the groom’s mother, rudely mocked a gift from one of the guests, and then started drinking champagne excessively. The groom felt embarrassed by her behavior but tried to hold back — after all, it was a special day.

But then something unexpected happened 😲 The dog suddenly bit the bride on the arm, although he had always been calm and affectionate before. The bride screamed and grabbed a bottle to hit the dog, but the groom intervened. When he understood why the dog bit the bride, he simply called off the wedding.

The climax happened when Roy was calmly standing next to his owner. The bride approached the dog and, looking straight into the groom’s eyes, deliberately stepped on Roy’s tail. The dog yelped and, in a defensive reaction, bit the bride on the arm. Everyone froze.

The bride screamed in pain, grabbed a bottle from the table, and raised it, preparing to strike the dog.

“Don’t touch my dog, you provoked him yourself!” the groom said sharply.

“I stepped on his tail by accident!” the bride shouted, her face twisted with anger.

“By accident?” the groom looked her straight in the eyes. “I saw everything. Accidentally wanted to hit him with the bottle too?”

The bride faltered, trying to defend herself:

“I didn’t realize what I was doing, my arm hurt. It’s all from the shock.”

The groom knelt beside Roy, who was trembling and flattening his ears.

“What shock?” he said coldly. “Do you always hit those weaker than you?”

The bride stood clutching her injured arm but couldn’t find words.

The groom stood up and said in a steady voice:

“There will be no wedding.”

He hugged Roy tightly, and the dog licked his hand as if thanking him for the protection, while the guests, still in shock, just exchanged glances.

What do you think — did the groom do the right thing?
