In this article, we want to tell you about such a heroic deed by a mother dog named Snowbelle, who, despite the bitter cold, did not abandon her puppies and continued to warm them with her body and feed them with her milk.
The animals were found in Minnesota, near Red Lake. A dog and six puppies were discovered there. People immediately took the canine family to a shelter.
Veterinarians examined the animals and estimated that the puppies were about three weeks old and had spent all that time in the cold. Most likely, the dog gave birth to them during a blizzard, but that did not become a reason for her to abandon them.
After Snowbelle was examined, it became clear that she had no milk. But once she had warmed up and eaten properly, that problem quickly disappeared.
